The 4SRC R1-D Drag Spoiler was developed for GT-R owners building cars beyond the limits of ordinary street use.

Designed and tested by the 4SRC team in the UK, the R1-D focuses on one objective — delivering high-speed stability and structural confidence in real-world motorsport environments.

Unlike many cosmetic carbon spoilers on the market, the R1-D was created with genuine drag racing and high-speed applications in mind. From aerodynamic efficiency to mounting strength, every detail has been engineered to perform under extreme conditions.

Today, the R1-D is trusted on some of the fastest GT-R builds in the UK, including vehicles competing in professional-level 1/4 mile and 1/2 mile events exceeding 200MPH.

Prepreg Autoclave Carbon Fibre Construction

Manufactured using premium prepreg carbon fibre and cured under high temperature and pressure in an autoclave environment, the R1-D achieves exceptional rigidity while maintaining a lightweight structure.

Compared with conventional wet carbon manufacturing methods, prepreg carbon offers:

• Better consistency and surface finish
• Increased resistance to flex under high aerodynamic load

This is especially important on vehicles operating at extreme speed, where aerodynamic stability becomes critical.

Designed for Real Aerodynamic Function

The R1-D features an aggressive but functional profile developed specifically for the Nissan GT-R R35 platform.

The design helps improve rear-end stability during high-speed acceleration while maintaining clean integration with the factory body lines.

Rather than creating unnecessary drag, the spoiler is engineered to work efficiently within the airflow characteristics of the R35 chassis.

The spoiler is supplied with custom reinforced stainless steel mounting brackets developed to handle the demands of high-speed driving and motorsport use.

Most recently, a Nissan GT-R R35 equipped with the 4SRC R1-D Drag Spoiler achieved outstanding results at Racewars UK in May 2026, becoming the official event record holder in both the 1/4 mile and 1/2 mile categories.
